The "X-wing" catenary arch configuration of this design leaves no significant "footprint" on the site, preserving its natural ecology and features. By spanning the site, this 10,000-square-foot residence occupies less than 300 square feet of "footprint." The circular pool also rests on existing boulders, requiring no excavation or footings.
